Melon and Grape Fruit Skewers

The same fruit they leave in the box, eaten because it is on a stick.

Ingredients

  • Melon700 g
  • Grapes300 g
  • Strawberries250 g
  • Lemons1 ea

Method

  1. Cut the melon into 2cm cubes, discarding the skin and any seeds.
  2. Pull the grapes off their stems and hull the strawberries, halving the big ones.
  3. Thread the fruit onto short skewers, alternating the colours.
  4. Squeeze a little lemon juice over the finished skewers to keep the cut melon bright.
  5. Snap the sharp point off each skewer before it goes in a lunchbox, or thread the fruit onto flat wooden sticks instead.
